30 facts about powerpoints

  1. With power point you can make presentations,slides,handouts,speakers notes ,and outlines.
  2. The tasks panel is located to the right in the presentation.
  3. You can be able to choose which display layout you would like .
  4. The standard toolbar contains icons for commands.
  5. Some commands include saving printing and opening.
  6. Placeholders contain characteristic for formatining things that you can add later on.
  7. There are view buttons which allow you to view in different ways  your presentation.
  8. The area in which you can view small images or preview of what your power point is looking like is call ed the slide sorter pane.
  9. There is also a formating tollbar in which you can edit your text to a different color  size and others.
  10. There are two ways in which you can add a new slide to your presentation.
  11. You can add a slide by clicking on the icon that say new slide.
  12. Another way that you can add a new clide is by pressing on the keyboard Ctrl +M
  13. You can also change you slide layout when ever you want to.
  14. There could be a different layout on each slide.
  15. When chosing a layout you can pick between having pictures,title ,and text.
  16. You can add pictures by using clipart.
  17. You can search any pictures you want by typing what you want on the seacrh box.
  18. Also another option you have of using clipart would be inserting auto shapes.
  19. Autoshapes are shapes you can insert from various shapes they have and styles too.
  20. You can also insert another text box on a shape and type inside it.
  21. While doing a powerpoint you can also insert a tamplate.
  22. You can add a tamplate by clicking on design.
  23. To play your slide show you can click on slide show.
  24. There are many ways in which you can print.
  25. You can print in entire pages,handouts with mulitpy pages.
  26. You can select print preview to see how it will be.
  27. You can print 6 pages per handout.
  28. Try to use no more the two types of fonts.
  29. Keep your bullets on a presentation to 6.
  30. Try to stay with the same color and font for the whole power point.
